Quah Hak Teng is a technical consultant at Red Hat Asia Pacific. Quah's responsibility involves creating and meeting demand for the Red Hat Enterprise Linux platform in ASEAN. A Red Hat Certified Engineer, Sun Certified Java Programmer and Certified Solaris Administrator, Quah facilitates the adoption of Linux among partners and customers with his many years of experience building the architecture and providing support for Linux and Unix solutions. Prior to Red Hat, he was a developer consultant and technology evangelist at Sun Microsystems, focusing on guiding enterprise solution developers.

Inside Sales Engineer

Eugene Tay is an inside sales engineer with Red Hat Asia Pacific providing technical solutions and product proposals to Red Hat customers in the Asia Pacific. Eugene was most recently from Scalable Systems, a Singapore startup specialising in Linux High Performance Computing --clusters using the open source Rocks project. He is experienced in customising Linux clusters for customers and had collaborated with the San Diego Supercomputer Center to develop the Rocks project. He graduated from National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering with Honours and is a Red Hat Certified Engineer.

Linux Enterprise Application Porting (LEAP) Engineer

Eugene Teo is a LEAP Engineer at Red Hat Asia Pacific. He focuses on Independent Software Vendors going through joint projects with Oracle at the LEAP centre and other porting centres. He provides consultation for migration, porting, and performance tuning issues on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Eugene works on SystemTap and occasionally helps out in the Red Hat Security Response Team. Prior to Red Hat, he was a security researcher at the Centre for Strategic Infocomm Technologies, focusing on Linux kernel vulnerability research. Eugene is an active member of the Linux and open source community in Singapore for nearly a decade, having held different portfolios within the Linux Users' Group (Singapore). He has spoken at numerous events such as the 5th Asia Open Source Software Symposium in Beijing and SyScan'05 in Bangkok. He holds a bachelor's degree in computing from National University of Singapore, and is a Red Hat Certified Engineer.
